The topic of the III International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference \u201cCurrent Aspects of STEAM Education Development in the Context of European Integration\u201d at the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs (April 24) was and remains extremely relevant. In the conditions of European integration, the issues of the development of STEAM education, ensuring its quality and integrating innovative technologies into education are becoming crucial for the formation of a competitive educational space of Ukraine. The opening of the conference was attended by PINCHUK Olga<\/a> – Deputy Director of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine for Scientific and Experimental Work, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Natalia SOROKO, a leading researcher of the Department of Comparative Studies of Information and Educational Innovations of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher, reported<\/a> on the problems of developing a STEAM-oriented educational environment at the plenary session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference’s work areas were implemented in the themes of six sections. Program >>><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference speakers identified that participation in international project-research initiatives in the field of STEAM education, in particular those implemented using educational platforms, is extremely important. These platforms become an environment for the formation of not only technical but also meta-subject competencies: critical thinking, teamwork, creativity and entrepreneurship – the same ones that form the basis of the European vision of education of the future. The work of the section THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF FORMATION OF SOFT SKILLS IN THE PROCESS OF TRAINING OF STUDENTS IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS was devoted to these problems (moderator – Olga Pinchuk).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference brought together more than 100 participants, present online and in the conference room of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
