June 29 – July 1, 2026 in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) the 18th annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies (EDULEARN26) was held – one of the largest international conferences in the field of education and new educational technologies. Every year the event brings together scientists, teachers, researchers, educational experts and technology developers from all over the world to discuss current trends in the development of education, digital transformation of learning and the implementation of innovative technologies. This year’s conference brought together more than 800 participants from about 80 countries of the world. As part of the conference, Kateryna OSADCHA, a research associate at the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine, co-authored with Iryna FESCHUK, presented a report on the topic “The role of artificial intelligence in wartime Ukraine: innovation and challenges”. The report was devoted to the analysis of the features of the use of artificial intelligence technologies under martial law in Ukraine. The speech highlighted innovative approaches to the application of AI tools in the military, social and educational spheres. Particular attention was paid to the role of artificial intelligence as a tool for supporting the sustainability of the Ukrainian education system and promoting the continuity of learning in crisis conditions.
Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to present Ukrainian experience to the international scientific community, exchange research results with specialists from different countries and join the discussion of the prospects for the development of artificial intelligence in education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
