On September 5-6, 2019, in Trnava, Slovakia the two-day Final Workshop was held within the framework of the “V4 + Academic Research Consortium integrating databases, robotics and languages technologies” which was supported by the International Visegrad Fund. The Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine co-organized the Event.
The Purpose of this Event was to summarize the project results, to exchange experience in building computer-based tools to tackle regional problems related to EU ICT research priorities, building of the digital research platforms of the future, technology-enhanced learning and others.
The Workshop was initiated and organized by the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (project coordinator); Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia; University of Ostrava, Czech Republic; Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics, Obuda University, Budapest, Hungary; Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities, Poland; Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, Ukraine. The Event was supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
The Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine expresses the deep gratitude to the project coordinator Dr. Stefan Svetsky, whose tireless efforts to organize and deploy the project have contributed to the development of the European Research Area of Open Education and Science, to the expansion of cooperation of Ukrainian scientists with the researchers from other countries; the development of mechanisms for the improving the educational, research and innovation environments in Ukraine and beyond.
The Workshop program provided scientific sessions, meetings and discussions, the topics of which covered the discussion of the project results; evaluating partner search; exchange of information on the experience of using information and communication learning technologies; models of creation and use of educational resources; presentation of experience of using educational robot and other.
The Workshop was attended by a representative of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, DrS in Education (doctor hab.), Senior Researcher M. Shyshkina.
