On September 10, 2025, the “FFG Forum 2025: Key Technologies and Strengths of Austria” was held, organised by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The event was attended by about 1,000 guests, including three federal ministers, representatives of scientific institutions and business. Doctor of Technical Sciences, leading researcher at the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine Oleksandr Burov took part in the Forum.

The main focus of the Forum and affiliated events was on key areas of development of modern technologies and innovations of Austria as a representative of the EU, in particular:

• quantum technologies,
• artificial intelligence,
• “green” technologies.

The Forum program combined discussion panels, presentations and expert discussions, which facilitated the exchange of experience between the scientific research and technological communities, including taking into account the modern context of Eastern Europe.

The final event of the Forum was a gala presentation of the leading innovative participating companies with the participation of the leadership of the Republic of Austria.
