November 27-28, 2024 at Mykhailo Kotsyubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University, with the participation of scientists from the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine, the 10th Ukrainian-Polish/Polish-Ukrainian Scientific Forum “Education for the Digital Transformation of Society” was held. 190 teachers, students and about 100 online participants from Ukraine and Poland took part in the forum. Among the most discussed topics: AI in education, professional development of teachers, training of future computer science teachers, formation of digital competences of students, psychological, socio-pedagogical and inclusive aspects of educational processes in conditions of digitisation.

During the event, the presentation of the monograph “Education for the Digital Transformation of Society” took place, which was presented by academician Nellia Nichkalo. The participants watched the documentary film “Pedagogy of the heart – a source of creative cooperation” (general producer – Hlib Golovchenko), which covered the history of Ukrainian-Polish cooperation and joint scientific and pedagogical activities.

Vasyl Kremen, the President of the NAES of Ukraine noted that “today there is a war for how humanity will develop in the future. I am convinced that Ukraine will achieve a just and dignified peace, and we will restore and build a new Ukraine based on new technologies, and our goal is digitisation and computerisation, particularly in the field of education.”

Andriy Kavunets, deputy head of the military administration of the Vinnytsia region for digitalisation, noted: “Ukraine is one of the leaders of digitalisation, and is an example for many countries. Digitisation enters all spheres, educators need to have time to feed specialists in rapid changes and in the conditions of the emergence of artificial intelligence…”.

Scientists of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine took an active part in the organisation and work of the forum. Reports and materials included in the collection were presented: “Digital transformation of education and science: state, problems, prospects” (O. Lytvynova), “Digital transformation of society: through the prism of the vision of Ukrainian teachers” (O.
