Project Goal: to theoretically substantiate and develop a model for using cloud-based open science systems in the teaching and professional development of teachers, appropriate methods for its implementation, and to experimentally verify their effectiveness.

Main objectives of the Project

  • Define the conceptual framework, clarify the content of the main concepts of the study.
  • Determine the development status of the problem.
  • To explore the evolution of tools and technologies of cloud-based open science systems (CBOSS) in education.
  • To substantiate the principles, methods and approaches to the formation of the CBOSS in the process of teacher education and professional development (PTEPD).
  • To analyze and assess the state of use of CBOSS in the domestic educational space.
  • Identify the means and services for forming the CBOSS in the PTEPD.
  • To substantiate the model of using CBOSS in the PTEPD.
  • Develop methods for using CBOSS in PNPRV.
  • To substantiate methodological recommendations for the use of CBOSS services in the PNPRV of natural and mathematical subjects for work in scientific lyceums.
  • To summarize and implement the results of theoretical and experimental research into pedagogical practice.

Detailed content of the Project:

– Current state of the problem. Given the significant pedagogical potential and novelty of existing approaches to the design of CBOSS, their formation and use in educational institutions, these issues still require theoretical and experimental research. In particular, the theoretical and methodological aspects of determining the structure, functions, means and technologies of designing CBOSS in educational institutions, the forms and methods of their use in the process of teaching and professional development of teachers remain practically undeveloped.

– Project novelty. The novelty of the project implementation lies in the study of the conceptual apparatus, principles, methods, approaches, tools and services, models of using CBOSS in the educational process of learning and professional development of teachers. One of the final results is precisely the methods of using open science services, which have just emerged and continue to be formed today. It is their educational processing that should be the contribution of the research, this has not been considered before.

– Research methodology. Research work will be carried out on the basis of the provisions of the system approach as a methodological way of understanding pedagogical and social facts, phenomena, processes; provisions of psychological and pedagogical science in the field of using information and communication technologies in the educational process of educational institutions. In order to ensure the reliability of experimental methods and interpretation of their results, it is planned to use the methods of questionnaires, expert evaluation, scientific and pedagogical experiment and processing of the obtained data using statistical methods.

Description of scientific or scientific and technical results obtained within the framework of the Project implementation

1. The conceptual framework has been defined, and the content of the main concepts related to the use of cloud-based methodological systems in the process of training teachers of natural sciences and mathematics to work in a scientific lyceum has been clarified.

2. The state of development of the research problem in the domestic and foreign educational space is determined.

Description of ways and means of further using the results of the Project in public practice.

The results of the scientific research can be applied in the system of higher, higher pedagogical, postgraduate pedagogical education. The results of the scientific research can be used by scientists conducting research and development aimed at the development of cloud ICT services in the system of pedagogical education, by practicing teachers to familiarize themselves with modern trends in the formation and development of cloud-oriented open science systems in the educational process.
