The international academic publishing house Springer Nature has published a collective monograph Digital Technologies in Education II, dedicated to the theoretical and practical aspects of the digital transformation of education and the implementation of open science tools. The publication has become a significant example of effective inter-academic interaction and cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, and the synergy of scientific initiatives in the field of digitalisation of education and science.

It is important to emphasise that scientists from the Institute of Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine played a leading role in the creation of the monograph: 10 of 21 sections of the publication were prepared by the Institute’s researchers. The presented results of scientific researchers testifies to the significant scientific of the institution to the formation of modern international discourse on the problems of digital transformation of education.

The editorial board of the monograph included, among others, Oleg Spirin, director, and Anna Yatsyshyn, leading researcher at the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

The monograph systematically highlights three key areas:

• digital transformation in education and the implementation of new knowledge management strategies;
• knowledge management and digital technologies in higher education;
• digital technologies for advanced training and development of scientists.

The monograph brought together author teams from Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and Norway, representatives of over 40 educational and scientific institutions, which emphasizes its international character and high scientific reputation. The publication of the monograph by Springer Nature is an international recognition of the results of joint scientific work and confirms that Ukrainian science, in particular the research of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, is consistently developing and integrating into the global scientific space, despite the complex challenges of today.
