On October 28, 2024, scientists of the National Institute of National Science and Technology of Ukraine participated in a seminar on forming a national consensus on open science of the Open4UA project.

In 2024, the IDE of the National Academy of Educational Science of Ukraine became a member of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), signing the Agreement on the Reform of Research Assessment.

During the seminar, part of the results of the Open4UA project and other important components of the implementation of the concept of open science were presented, in particular: updating the legislation of Ukraine regarding the inclusion of the main principles and terminology of open science; information about the CoARA Research Assessment Improvement Coalition; on intellectual property legislation and the concept of open science; repositories and their role as tools of open science, etc.

The seminar continued with an interesting and constructive discussion at which a number of issues related to the implementation of the concept of open science were discussed.
