V International Scientific and Practical Conference Immersive Technologies in Education (ITE-2025)

On April 29, 2025 V International Scientific and Practical Conference Immersive Technologies in Education (ITE-2025) was held, organized on the initiative of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. 

The purpose of the conference was to develop theoretical foundations and exchange practical experience of using advanced technologies in the educational process of educational institutions of different levels to support sustainable development, innovation and internationalization of education.

The conference issues covered such areas: methodology of pedagogical activities with the use of immersive technologies in educational activities; immersive technologies in STEM/STEAM education; theoretical-methodological and psychological-pedagogical aspects of using immersive technologies in educational institutions; VR & AR technologies in education; measuring the impact of immersive technologies on learning outcomes; health-preserving aspect of using immersive technologies in the educational process; assessing the quality of educational material with augmented reality; AI in education; advanced technologies in supporting Sustainability, Innovation, and Internationalization of Education.

The event was held in a hybrid format, in English and Ukrainian.

Conference statistics:

124 people (listeners, speakers and authors of materials) registered to participate in the conference.

75 authors sent materials for publication in the conference proceedings.

57 materials were submitted in Ukrainian, 18 in English.

Among those registered are participants from 4 countries (Ukraine, Italy, Poland, Turkey). In particular, representatives from 20 cities of Ukraine (Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Drohobych, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Izmail, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Kyiv, Kramatorsk, Kryvyi Rih, Kropyvnytskyi, Lviv, Odessa, Pereyaslav, Poltava, Ternopil, Trostyanets, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi).

The Conference contributed to the exchange of experience, useful and valuable practices, theoretical assets in the context of the introduction of innovative technologies in the field of education.
