On February 27, 2025, the Annual Scientific Conference of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences (NAES) of Ukraine, titled “Digital Transformation of Scientific and Educational Environments in Wartime Conditions,” took place in Kyiv. The conference was held in a hybrid format.
The event was opened by the Director of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine, Oleh SPIRIN, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Full Member of the NAES of Ukraine. A welcome address was delivered by Oleksandr LYASHENKO, Academic Secretary of the Department of General Secondary Education and Digitalisation of Educational Systems of the NAES of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Full Member of the NAES of Ukraine.
The Director of the Institute, Oleh SPIRIN, presented the achievements of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine in 2024. Svitlana IVANOVA, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher, and Head of the Department of Open Educational and Scientific Information Systems at the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine, delivered a report on the Development of Digital Competence of Scientific and Academic Staff through Open Educational and Scientific Information Systems. Valentyna KOVALENKO, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher, and Leading Researcher at the Department of Cloud-Oriented Systems and Artificial Intelligence in Education of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine, presented on the Experience Gained in 2024 in Conducting Workshops for Teachers, Academic, and Research Staff on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools.

A lively discussion and significant interest among attendees were sparked by the report of Liudmyla SHEVCHENKO, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Professor at the Department of Digital Technologies and Professional Education of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University, titled Digital Burnout: Causes, Consequences, and Impact on Mental Health.

The sectional sessions were moderated by: Maryna SHYSHKINA, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher; Svitlana IVANOVA, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher; Liudmyla KONDRATOVA, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor. Among the most remarkable and at the same time highly debated presentations were: Methodological Features of Using Artificial Intelligence Technologies by Mathematics Teachers in Inquiry-Based Learning by Olena HRYBIUK; Pedagogical Design of Cognitive Learning Technology Supported by Artificial Intelligence Services in the Obsidian Environment by Oleksii RYZHOV; Evaluation of Digital Game-Based Tools for Use in the Training of Future Bachelors in Computer Science by Dmytro VERBOVETSKYI.
