On September 24, 2025, the 4th Workshop on Digital Transformation of Education (DigiTransfEd 2025) took place. This event is a peer-reviewed international seminar dedicated to the theoretical and practical aspects of the digital transformation of education.
DigiTransfEd is an annual scientific workshop that brings together researchers, graduate students and practitioners working on issues of digital transformation of all levels and branches of education. The focus of this year’s seminar is on the challenges and prospects for the development of the digital educational environment in the context of global changes.
The transition to digital forms of learning, initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic, prepared the Ukrainian education system for work in war conditions and identified key areas for its further development. That is why the digitalisation of the educational process at all levels and areas of training is one of the leading issues in global scientific research today.
The aim of the seminar was to create a platform for the exchange of ideas and experience between scientists and practitioners, to discuss research results and to outline new trends in this important area.
The Organizing Committee (Tetyana VAKALYUK, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Vyacheslav OSADCHY, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Olga PINCHUK, Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine) expresses its sincere gratitude to the reviewers for their professional work, which helped to select the best reports. The number of high-quality materials exceeded the volume specified for the collection.
The seminar materials, as in previous years (2023 (https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-3553/), 2024 (https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-3771), will be submitted by the organizing committee to CEUR-WS for publication.
We are glad that our seminar is becoming a platform for discussing the most pressing issues of digital transformation of education. The high level of presented research and the activity of participants confirm that this topic is a priority for the scientific community around the world.
