On May 19-20, 2026, within the framework of the Festival of Science in Ukraine, the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovations in Designing the Professional Development of Specialists within the University Environment” was held. The event brought together researchers from Ukraine, Moldova, the Republic of Korea, Romania, and China to discuss strategic issues related to the development of modern higher education.
The conference was organized by South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky, while the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine joined the event as a co-organizer.
Researchers of the Department of Cloud-Oriented Systems and Artificial Intelligence in Education of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine participated for the second consecutive year in discussions on designing the educational and scientific environment of modern universities. The participants focused on the following issues:
- traditions and educational concepts of university education;
- European integration trajectories in the development of higher education;
- training modern specialists as subjects of professional activity;
- innovative strategies for the professional development of teachers;
- sectoral variability and the socio-cultural significance of teacher education.
During the plenary session held on May 19, 2026, Anna Yatsyshyn, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Leading Researcher at the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine, delivered a presentation entitled: “INNOVATIONS AND STRATEGIES FOR PREPARING TEACHERS TO USE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN STEM EDUCATION.”
The conference continued on May 20, 2026, in the format of thematic panel sessions devoted to the specifics of the educational environment, specialist training, and innovations in teacher education.
