On 24 September 2027, the 5th Workshop on Digital Transformation of Education (DigiTransfEd 2027) will take place.
The workshop is organised by the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The event will be held in Ukraine, with participation available in a hybrid format.
DigiTransfEd is an international peer-reviewed scientific workshop dedicated to the theoretical and practical aspects of digital transformation in education. It brings together researchers, university lecturers, school teachers, and other professionals who explore the impact of digital technologies on educational processes, develop innovative approaches to teaching and assessment, investigate digital learning environments, and examine the future of education in a digital society.
Main Topics of DigiTransfEd 2027:
• digital transformation strategies for educational institutions;
• development of digital resources for education;
• digital educational resources and practices of their use;
• evaluation of digital learning environments;
• integration of digital technologies into teaching and learning;
• online and blended learning in general secondary and higher education;
• student engagement and motivation in online learning;
• teacher training and professional development in the context of digital transformation;
• ethical and social aspects of digital transformation in education;
• gamification and game-based technologies in digital education;
• innovative technologies and tools for digital education;
• adaptive learning technologies;
• digital transformation and educational equity;
• digital citizenship and digital literacy;
• digital learning environments for cooperation, interaction, and communication.
Research on the application of artificial intelligence in education will also be addressed as a cross-cutting dimension of digital transformation spanning various workshop topics.
Paper Submission and Publication
All submitted research papers will undergo blind peer review by the international Programme Committee. The selection process will consider scientific novelty, methodological rigour, relevance, and the quality of the presented research findings.
Papers selected through the peer-review process are planned to be submitted for publication consideration in CEUR Workshop Proceedings, with potential subsequent indexing in Scopus. Publication will depend on the peer-review outcomes and compliance with the publisher’s requirements, including those concerning the institutional affiliation of authors.
