On September 19, 2023, co-located with the 18th International Conference on ICT in Education, Research, and Industrial Applications: Integration, Harmonization, and Knowledge Transfer (ICTERI 2023), the 6th international workshop dedicated to methods, resources and technologies of open education and science (MROL 2023) was held. The organizers of the workshop Hennadiy Kravtsov (Kherson State University, Ukraine), Mariya Shyshkina (Institute for Digitalisation of Education of NAES of Ukraine, Ukraine), Paul Plaskura (Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland) selected 20 best reports for presentation.
The topic of the workshop covered the current state of development and prospects for the use of leading ICT to support learning and scientific research in open systems of higher education. The purpose of the workshop was aimed at researching the most appropriate ways of using tools, resources and methods of open education and science for the formation of a creative and digitally competent personality in the context of the creation of the European Research Area, the leading trends in the development of digital technologies.
The reports presented at the workshop correspond to the priorities of open education and science, open communication and open access and transfer of data, widespread use of cloud educational resources, platforms and infrastructures to support learning and research in open systems of higher education, use of big data, smart data, resources of the European Open Scientific Cloud (EOSC), adaptive data processing, etc.
