DIGITAL COMPETENCE OF THE TEACHER OF THE NEW UKRAINIAN SCHOOL 2023. THE SEARCH FOR SOLUTIONS IN THE PERIOD OF WAR

Dear colleagues, friends, teachers, professors, scientists! With faith in our peaceful future, life and work in independent Ukraine, we made the issue №1 (93) of the electronic professional journal "Information Technologies and Learning Tools". The issue consistently ranks the 1st in the Top 100 "Best publications - Ukrainian" according to Google Scholar, included in the Web of Science Core Collection - Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), has a Q3 Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) in the Education & Educational Research category.

We want to present the work and professional achievements of Ukrainian researchers from Dorohobych, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Poltava, Khmelnytskii, Austria, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka to the world.

On February 20, 2023, the meeting of the Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was held. Members of the CYS of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, Anna Yatsyshyn and Alisa Sukhikh, who are associate members of the CYS of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, participated in the event. According to the results of the elections, Alisa Sukhikh was re-elected as the deputy head of the CYS of the MES of Ukraine. Congratulations and wish successful work!

On February 17-19, 2023, the Third Winter School "Scientist Brand and Digitalisation of Education" was held. Anna Yatsyshyn, a leading researcher of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine, was an invited speaker at the event. The professional development training was organized by the NGO "Innovation University". Anna Yatsyshyn held the classes on the topics: "Using tools of the open science and scientometric bases for popularise own scientific results" and "Digital transformation of scientific activity".

On January 31, 2023, the round table "Digital Transformation of Scientific Activity in Higher Education in the Circumstances of European Integration" was held. The event was organized by the Scientist Support Office. Scientists of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraine took an active part in the organisation and holding of the round table. Moderators of the round table were Anna Yatsyshyn and Teodozija Yatsyshyn, administrator of the event was Alisa Sukhikh.

On January 25, 2023, All-Ukrainian Methodological Seminar for Young Scientists "Information and Communication Technologies in Education and Research" was held in the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. As part of the Seminar, graduate students of the Institute made reports in which they presented the results of their dissertation research for the first half 2022-2023 academic year. Scientists of the Institute provided valuable recommendations for further research of graduate students.

On January 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. the defense of the dissertation work of Maryenko Maya Volodymyrivna "Designing a Cloud-oriented Methodical System for Improving the Qualifications of Teachers of Natural and Mathematical Subjects for Work in a Scientific Lyceum" for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences took place at the session of the Specialized Scientific Council of the Institute for Digitalization of Education NAES of Ukraine, specialty 13.00.10 - Information and Communication Technologies in Education.

On November 2, 2022, All-Ukrainian Methodological Seminar for Young Scientists "Information and Communication Technologies in Education and Research" was held in the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. As part of the Seminar, young scientists of the Institute made reports on the activity of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Digitalization of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and opportunities for young scientists under martial law. 

The international scientific electronic journal "Information Technologies and Learning Tools" of the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine became the highest ranked in the international study of the problems of teacher’s digital competence development.
