On 19-20 May, 2016 VII Ukrainian scientific and methodical conference Computer simulation and Information Technologies in Education (CSITE'2016) was held in the Physics and Mathematics Department of Krivyi Rig Pedagogical Institute SHEE “National University Krivyi Rig”. Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine acted as co-organizer of the conference.
The conference was attended by representatives of Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine, joint research laboratory on the use of cloud technologies in education of SHEE “National University Krivyi Rig” and Institute Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine, Krivyi Rig Pedagogical Institute SHEE “National University Krivyi Rig”, The Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, Cherkasy State Technological University, The Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and Mariupol comprehensive school I-III ¹33.
The structure of the program plenary meeting included two reports of joint research laboratory on the use of cloud technologies in education SHEE “National University Krivyi Rig” and Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine. Scientific secretary of the laboratory O.V. Vikhrova has performed historical overview on the origins, foundation and history of Ukrainian scientific and methodical conference “Computer simulation and information technology in education”. The Chief Researcher of the Laboratory S.O. Semerikov presented the educational component of educational and PhD scientific training program in specialty "Science Education" on the speciality 13.00.10 – information and communication technologies in education.
The work section II of the conference "ICT in Education" was attended by representatives of Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine, including Department of the cloud-based systems of education, which elucidated issue of the use of the cloud-oriented systems in higher education.
The results of the conference are in scientific journals "New computer technologies", Volume XIV and in the Journal of Cherkassy University Series: Pedagogical Sciences, ¹ 7 2016.
The next scheduled conference is focused on April and May 2017.
