June 22 the Ministry of education and Science of Ukraine held All-Ukrainian round table «STEM-education in Ukraine, from preschool to competent graduate" in the College Hall of the MOES. The initiators of the round table are MOES and the Institute of Education Content modernization of Ukraine.
V.Bykov, director of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine, O.Spirin, deputy director of IITLT of NAES of Ukraine, O.Stryzhak, deputy director of the National Centre "Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" ; V.Shyrokov, director of the Ukrainian Language-Informational Centre of the NAS of Ukraine highlighted problems and trends of ICT in education application, modern technology management training problems and information resources in education providing.
The participants planned to provide proposals to the Institute of Modernization of Educational Content for STEM-education, in particular, to review the content of curricula, textbooks, methods and techniques of teaching in the system of pre-school, and school education for their compliance with current requirements and synchronization of thematic areas of the principles of science and technology.
