The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine approved the personal staff of the scientific-methodical commissions (sub-commissions) of Higher Education Sector of the Scientific and Methodological Council, which included the representatives of the Institute of Information Technology and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine:
Ivanova Svitlana, PhD (in Pedagogics), Head of the Department of Open Education and Scientific Information Systems –included to the sub-commission 306 Library Technology (Scientific-Methodical Commission 15 on organizational and methodical provision of higher education) as the Head;
Nosenko Yuliya, PhD (in Pedagogics), senior researcher, leading researcher – included to the sub-commission 301 Lifelong Education, Recognition of Non-formal and Informal Learning (Scientific-Methodical Commission 15 on organizational and methodical provision of higher education);
Shyshkina Mariya, PhD (in Philosophy), senior researcher, Head of the Department of Cloud-Oriented Systems of Education Informatization – included to the sub-commission 015-1 Vocational Education (Information Technology, Automation and Telecommunications) (Scientific-Methodical Commission 1 on the general and vocational education) as the Secretary.
The main tasks of the scientific-methodical commissions among others include:
- identifying of the main directions of scientific and methodical provision of learning process in higher educational institutions of Ukraine with taking into account national experience, traditions and development trends in world’s educational systems;
- generalization and introduction of advanced learning technologies;
- providing scientific-methodical expertize of the scientific and educational literature, teaching tools and software, standards for their compliance with modern requirements for professional training and education of all educational levels, etc.
Currently the constituent assembly of the scientific-methodical commissions’ members will be occurring during April 12-22, 2016.
According to Oleg I. Sharov, Head of the Department of Higher Education of MES of Ukraine, in June 2016 MES plans to present the draft standards to the public discussion.
