The Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine held a series of trainings on the use of the cloud based system SageMathCloud.

In February-March, 2016 within the experimental research on “Methodology of forming the cloud-based educational and scientific environment of higher educational institution” a series of trainings on the use of the cloud based system SageMathCloud was held. It concerned to training management and evaluation, maintaining group work, learning special mathematics disciplines. The training sessions were visited by post-graduate students, doctoral students, scientific and pedagogical staff of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine, Drohobych State Pedagogical University, National University of Kryvyi Rig, Kryvyi Rig State Pedagogical University, University of Luhansk, East Ukrainian National University named after Vladimir Dal.

The innovative form of work such as combined training was used, combining the face-to-face and distance learning using the cloud-based tools. During the training a situational e-learning network was created, its members have implemented collective activities due to the common scenario.

The possibilities of the SageMathCloud use aroused great interest among the participants. In future a series of such training activities is scheduled due to the Plan of trainings and webinars for the first half of 2016, which can be viewed here.
