On March 02, 2018 the WORKSHOP "Representation of Research Activities in Information Science and Educational Space" held by the joint research laboratory "Cloud Technologies in Education" of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and Kryvyi Rig National University took place in Kryvyi Rig.
The report of Yulia V. Yechkalo and Viktoriya V. Tkachuk was devoted to "Means of Representing a Scientist in the Information Science and Education Space."
The practical part was to demonstrate the loading of material to the Electronic Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and to work with the statistics of the Electronic Library. Speaker: Maiia V. Popel.
Serhiy O. Semerikov delivered a lecture entitled "Applied Scientometrics: Out of the Shadow," in which he noted the positive aspects of using the Electronic Library of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as the basis of the National Repository of Academic Texts of Ukraine.
At the end of the workshop, Andrei M. Stryuk made a presentation, outlining the main points of work with electronic libraries and databases in the activities of the scientist.
The next meeting of the joint research laboratory "Cloud Technologies in Education" of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and Kryvyi Rig National University will be devoted to the practical work with electronic libraries and databases in the activities of the scientist, namely: work with the profiles of the scientist.
