From 21 to 24 September 2021, the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine received a delegation from the I. Altinsarin National Academy of Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The purpose of the visit of scientists-educators of the Republic of Kazakhstan was to establish important scientific links for pedagogical research on the introduction of immersive technologies in the learning process in different levels of educational institutions.

On September 22, 2021, the Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation «Immersive Technologies in Education» was held, organized by the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of NAES of Ukraine. The conference was attended by scientists from 17 educational institutions of Ukraine and educational scientists from the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On August 25, 2021. The National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine held a traditional web-conference for teachers. Scientists of the Institute shared experience in the field of implementing innovations and provided advice on the following issues: cloud-based systems of open science in the teachers’ activities; use of augmented reality; information and educational environment as a tool of implementing civic education; information technologies of adaptive analytics of the learning process; organizational and pedagogical conditions of health-preserving using of ICT in school.

May 27-28, 2021. The V International Conference "Pedagogical Comparative Studies and International Education 2021: Innovations in Education in the Context of Europeanization and Globalization" took place. The Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the NAES of Ukraine is a co-organizer of the event. Employees of the Department of Comparative Studies of Information and Educational Innovations presented the results of scientific research and made reports. The conference will be held online on the ZOOM platform.

April 15-16, 2021. The VII International Conference "Digital Education in Environmental Universities" was held in the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The founders of the conference are National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and Wroclaw University of Environmental Sciences and Life, Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine is co-organizer of Conference. Deputy Director of the IITLT NAES of Ukraine Olga Pinchuk took part in the plenary session of the conference with a report "Digital competence as a necessary condition for digital transformation of educational and scientific activities."

On March 1, 2021, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the President of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists took place in the Museum of Science. Alisa Sukhikh's work was recognized as an outstanding scientific research of the young scientist, which contributes to the further development of the humanities, natural sciences, engineering and has a positive impact on social progress and affirms the high authority of domestic science in the world.

3rd Workshop on Digital Transformation of Education (ICTERI 2024)

The Institute for Digitalisation of Education of NAES of Ukraine invites you to participate in the third English-language workshop on DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF EDUCATION (DigiTransfEd 2024). The seminar is peer-reviewed and will be held in a hybrid format on 09/23/2024 as part of ICTERI 2024.
The theme of DigiTransfEd 2024 is related to the ICTERI 2024 Track 3: ICT Applications in Academia & Industry: ICT solutions for competence design and development / ICT development to support technology-enhanced teaching and learning, including life-long learning / ICT solutions for quality assurance in education and education management / Novel ICT infrastructures, tools, and environments for research, cooperation, and knowledge transfer.
The deadline for submission of papers is 07/29/2024.

IX INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP LIFE LONG LEARNING USING ICT: PERSON-ORIENTED APPROACH (3L-PERSON-2024)

The IX International Workshop Life-Long Learning using ICT: Person-oriented Approach (3L-Person) in the series of workshop under this title continues topics set in 2016 with new sub-topics accordingly to new challenges in the field of education (such as “Synthetic learning environment: AR/VR/MR, AI in education, etc.” since 2020). The main idea of the series is ICTs’ creation-development-implementation at stages Academia → Education/Training → Industry. The quick transfer of the world to remote education and work has led to appearance of the hybrid workforce and needs of the further Human-System-Integration (HSI), where the ”System” means an education system, first of all. HSI in education is considered as a mutual adaptation of a human and ICT for K16 + re-skilling during the whole human active life.

The National Research Fund of Ukraine Competitions

In December 2023, the Scientific Council of NRFU approved the terms of the competitions: "Research Infrastructures for Conducting Advanced Scientific Research", "Science for Strengthening the Defense Capability of Ukraine", "Advanced Science in Ukraine".
Project selection begins. The winners will receive grant support for conducting fundamental and practical scientific research for development of the national research space and its integration into the world research space.
